Charles Sherrod Jr. was born in Joliet, IL and raised in Blountstown, FL. He currently resides in Corpus Christi, TX. A lifelong story teller, Charles specializes in molding dark mysterious thrillers that keeps his readers on the edges of their seats, salivating for the next suspenseful page. His newest work:

What motivated you to write this book?
Charles Sherrod:
I always loved to write and was motivated by my parents to write my own original character story at a young age, I couldn’t come up with one, but I knew I wanted to write something different and shocking. Then one day I heard the phrase “Evil will be unmasked…forever”. For some reason it got me thinking of the evil side of someone, the light in all of us. What would happen if that light ever fails.…it just developed from there.

When did you realize that you wanted to be an author?
Charles Sherrod:
I can only speculate, but around 5 or 6 I loved to read and watch classic cartoons. I would write my own endings sometimes and rewrite stories that I felt could be better.

I wrote many short stories but my first novel would be in 2019.

What do you think makes a good story?
Charles Sherrod:
Beginning, middle and an end. If any of these fails to grab the reader it will fail.
5 Things I’d like my readers to know about me: I grew up in the south and was encouraged to be creative from a young age. I collect classic and new figures and statues for my Showroom. I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world. I strive everyday to never repeat myself in anything I do. I am very approachable and not above answering questions.
